Celebrating Scotland’s Top Exporters 2023

This year’s Scottish Export Index had a focus on sustainability, with the introduction of a new Net Zero Exporter category. This category recognised businesses exporting goods and services to meet the goal of a Net Zero economy. In addition, applicants across all categories were asked about their efforts to reduce environmental impact, forming an important criterion in the selection of the top 20 exporters. Innovation of the Year Award – The Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards 2021

Scotmas Group Ltd, Kelso, and Robert Gordon University won this award for the development of a new and innovative method of producing disinfectants without harmful by-products for use in hospitals, water supplies and food production applications.
