Scotmas Group are seeking an Account Manager.
The Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of customer communications, ensuring profitable, sustained and growing customer relationships.
Working closely with the Customer Service Coordinator, Business Development Managers and supported by the Marketing team. They will manage inbound enquiries and generate of new business leads, working them to completion through the sales process.
They will have a passion for and experience of applied engineering to enable our solutions led sales approach which focuses on expert application of our technology to achieve industry leading results for our customers.
Managing the day-to-day activities of the customer accounts they will ensure high standards of customer service, satisfaction and communications are maintained at all times. They will sustain and broaden relationships with existing customers to create lasting, profitable relationships
As part of the Commercial team (10 people), they will work closely with the Commercial Director, Business Development managers and supported by Sales Administration and Marketing team. In addition the ability to work closely with and develop strong relationships with our Technical, Service and Operations teams is essential to ensure the customer is always championed throughout the business.
Flexible or part time hours negotiable for the right applicant. Our location in the Scottish Borders offers a fantastic lifestyle however applicants UK wide will be considered and a mix of home and office working is available.

What about you?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in am Account Management or Sales role in a comparable industry
- Excellent knowledge of the Water Treatment and a strong understanding of the operational needs and compliance standards in our target markets
- An aptitude or a strong interest in Engineering, with the ability to communicate with both sales and engineer stakeholders Evidence of formal sales training
- An entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for innovation and the desire to take responsibility in a small team
