Scotmas Group are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive.
Scotmas is seeking a creative Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at the head office in Kelso, Scottish Borders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in activating marketing strategies and campaigns that effectively promote our brand and products while driving increased engagement and web traffic through innovative use of our communication tools.
You will be present on-site in Kelso at least once per week and will be open to out-of-hours work on occasion to meet the requirements of the events calendar across the UK, GCC member states and Europe.

Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation: Activate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with Scotmas’ objectives, promoting our brand and technology to targeted audiences throughout the world.
- Social Media Management: Support the management of our social media channels. Plan, produce, and publish compelling content that engages our audience and promotes interaction while ensuring consistency in brand voice and message.
- Video Creation: Produce engaging promotional and training videos for internal and external use.
- Digital Engagement: Utilise our website, CRM and social media channels as key communication tools. Enhance our content and other digital interfaces to increase web traffic and customer interaction.
- Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to identify selling opportunities and customer needs. Utilise insights to develop strategies for engaging current and potential customers.
- Innovation in Incentives: Assist in generating innovative ideas for customer incentives. Develop promotions that attract new business and reward loyal customers.
- Event Representation: Represent Scotmas at various events, delivering a best-in-class experience to existing and potential customers, and enhancing our brand presence in the market.
Qualifications
- Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, including social media management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
- Full driving license.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be at ease in presenting in front of the camera as well as operating it for both photography and video.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas for customer engagement.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of marketing tools such as our HubSpot CRM platform and social media platforms.
- Proficient in the use of Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel.
- A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign & Illustrator would be of benefit.
- A working knowledge of the WordPress CMS would be of benefit.
